The CPR pocket face mask is a medical emergency CPR mask whose application is well established with first responders. Having a size that envelopes most of the victim's face during first aid administration and comprising of flexible, transparent components, CPR pocket masks are frequently present in first aid emergencies.
The mask is held securely to the victims face with sturdy elastic straps, thereby insuring that air propelled by the 1st responder blowing air through the pocket face mask's valve, does not escape through the sides of the mask, but rather enters the victims lungs through their mouth and nose. The one way valve prevents viral and bacterial transfer between rescuer and victim during the application of CPR because the pocket mask's 'respirator filter' is constructed into the mask's one way valve. (See image to the right).
Because the pocket mask’s one way valve and filtering respirator are disposable, the rescuer starts each CPR first aid application with a new respirator and one way valve, thus insuring that both rescuer and victim are safe from any secondary contamination resulting from air borne viruses and bacteria that may be in contact with the mask's respirator.

The CPR pocket masks construction comprising of a one way valve is designed to prevent blow back from the patient through the CPR pocket mask, to the rescuer.
Providing a standard 22 mil connection, the flexible edges of the mask enables the CPR pocket mask’s contours to fit around the face of a man or woman. (See image, upper right).
Fitted into a clamshell case, along with the face mask, comes a pair of sanitary transparent nitrile gloves so the rescuer’s hands and face will be protected from the victim and the victim will be protected from the first responder. (See image of clamshell case, shown to the right).
